After two years of successful partnership for international distribution, ERO GmbH acquired the French company in October 2023.
The two company portfolios complement each other perfectly: Ferrand’s focus is on soil cultivation, undervine maintenance and crop protection, while ERO has
established itself for its grape harvesters, trimmers, leaf strippers and other products for canopy management.
The newly developed Ferrand Flex 140 sickle mulcher was presented for the first time at the AgrarWinterTage 2024 in Mainz. The mulcher has a hydraulic width adjustment from 140 to 190 cm. The device is characterized by a stable and durable design with a comparatively low weight.
Ferrand has been working with winegrowers in France for forty years.
The company’s core business is manufacturing machinery for soil cultivation, undervine maintenance and canopy management. In 2015, Ferrand acquired Dhugues SAS, which manufactures recycling crop sprayers. Ferrand numbers among the main players in the French vineyard machinery sector. The company currently employs around 70 people.
